Since 1991, the Lions Club Mameranus has been organising a second-hand book market every year during the braderie de la Ville de Luxembourg.

This year, from Thursday 29 August to Monday 2 September, the stand will be located in the Belle Étoile mall to the right of the entrance to the "Maisons du Monde" shop.

The well-known "Luxemburgensia" is very popular with collectors for whom the traditional "Bichermaart" is a fixed appointment in their calendar. You will also find children's books, comics and an impressive number of novels and practical books in French, German and English. If you are a big fan of novels, if you are looking for beautiful books or children's books at a moderate price, you will find what you need.

Throughout the year, the Lions Club collects second-hand books from estates or from people who wish to donate books they no longer need. After a selective sorting, the best copies are sold during the "Bichermaart". The proceeds from this sale are used to feed the association's social fund.

People who wish to give up books can do so via Facebook (Lions Mameranus) or by leaving a message on 00352 31 22 44 from mid-September. Lions Club members will collect them from you.
