"DRIVING EXPERIENCE FOR CHARITY & EXCLUSIVE CAR EXHIBITION"

On Saturday June 8, 2024, the Lions Club "Roude Léiw", in collaboration with ATREX, invited owners of exceptional cars as well as lovers of fine coachwork and mechanical engineering to the 6th edition of its "Driving Experience for Charity & Exclusive Car Exhibition" on the impressive site of the Hauts-Fourneaux in Esch/Belval. After several years of abstinence, notably due to the enforced pause caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, LC Roude Léiw was delighted to invite its friends once again to this exceptional day.

In gloriously sunny weather, many fans and owners of fine sports cars turned out for this year's edition. In addition to the Exclusive Cars Exhibition on the Place de l'Académie, the many visitors to the event were offered exciting first drives in the Esch/Belval area.

Children from the "Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner" and "Fondation APEMH" associations were offered street baptisms, where they were able to ride for a quarter of an hour in sports cars or exceptional cars on the roads around Esch/Belval. A great moment of pleasure!

In keeping with the Lions spirit, all proceeds from this extraordinary day will go to Télévie (www.televie.lu) and other Luxembourg charities.

A special website dedicated to this event - www.defc.lu - had been set up, showing photos and films (called "Aftermovie") as well as publishing the long list of donations made in previous editions.

Congratulations to our friend Roland Wirth, chairman of the organizing committee, and to all the volunteers who supported him and contributed to the undeniable success of this humanitarian action.
